Christi's Creative Crew: 4 Days to Due Date

Counting down until our newest grand baby arrives.

I really love this cute baby girl card using the COUNTING SHEEP Stamp Set from the FREE Sale-a-bration products.

This sweet card was inspired by Cheryl Algie

There are 2 ways to create the background, but they both use the ADORNING DESIGNS DECORATIVE MASKS

On the card I used a BLENDER BRUSH and Blushing Bride Ink, but if you want a softer look you can use a SPRITZER filled with Rubbing Alcohol and some drops of Blushing Bride re-inker, then spritzed through the mask. I chose to go with the bold look, but I did soften the edges just a bit with the Blender Brush.

I also colored in my little sheep with a Blender Brush and the Blushing Bride Ink.

The "hello" comes from the BIGGEST WISH Stamp Set (one of my favorites)

and the "BABY" is cut from the PLAYFUL ALPHABET DIES. (another of my favorite go-to's)

The baby boy card I chose to make is from a retired stamp set called A LITTLE TWINKLE

To create the card front I cut a piece of Basic White card stock to 5-1/4" x 4" and sponged the entire piece with Misty Moonlight ink and a BLENDING BRUSH. This way I was able to give the piece some varied shades. Then I added drops of Rubbing Alcohol mixed with Frost White Shimmer Paint. I added some ELEGANT FACETED GEMS to my starry sky for an added effect. I do not share retired products to frustrate you, I share them to either encourage you to purchase those stamp sets when they are available OR to encourage you to use those sets that you did buy and haven't used in a while.
