With December beginning tomorrow, we will try to focus on Christmas cards.

I decided to start working on my Gingerbread & Peppermint 6x6 pack of Designer Paper.

I also had 1/4 of a package left from the new product share and the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, so with this I went to work.

These first three cards were made using the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. They are a little bit bigger than our standard A2 cards, but they are cool. They come with the Cinnamon Sider scalloped piece already imprinted onto the from of the card.

The trees, mittens, and ornaments were fussy cut out from the designer paper.

The Scalloped layer was cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and I ran it through twice, lining it up to cut them just a smidge off to fit better on the Cinnamon Cider.

This style was inspired by Kate - the changes I made were minimal

I also wanted to challenge my team with a couple sketch challenges with these next two cards

The Real Red 3/8" Sheer Ribbon is one of my favorites because it is super easy to tie bows with.

Last Chance Products

Now that Thanksgiving is in the rearview mirror, it's time to look ahead to Christmas and the New Year. And it's almost time to say goodbye to the July-December (Fall) Mini Catalog. But first, we have the Last Chance Products event. This year the event runs from December 1 - January 3.

I've attached two lists below. One is a list of products that are carrying over. Some will reappear in next year's Fall Mini. The others will be available at least until the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog launches.

The second list is the retiring products list. Some of these products will be available at a discount when the Last Chance event begins on December 1. In every case the products on this list are available while supplies last.

Heartfelt Sympathy

Here are a couple more sympathy cards I made to replenish my stock.

This first card uses the Forever Fern Stamp Set. Pretty quick and easy to make with Shaded Spruce and Crumb Cake. It was cased from one I saw on Pinterest, but no link to direct you to.

This second one I revamped from one I made before but this time I used the Eden's Garden Designer Paper and Just Jade Card Stock. The stamp set is the retired Waterfront.

Mountain Air Sympathy

Sadly, the cards that I continually run out of is sympathy cards

I have been working on building up my stash and wanted to share a couple of them with you

This first one was fun to build using the Mountain Air Stamp Set. I did pull out the retired Petite Pairs Stamp Set for my sentiment. It was inspired by Jaimie

This second card, I believe that I made before, but I love the In Good Taste Designer Paper so much - you get so much paper for the price. The leaf stamp is from the retired Rooted In Nature and I used some Mercury Glass Designer Acetate for the middle oval.

Pillow Gifts and Prize Patrol

This will be the last post from our Stampin' Retreat, I promise, (unless I find more photos)

When everyone arrived we met them at the door to give them their room assignment and everyone got one of these pretty bracelets that Janell put together

Everyone was assigned a number for Prize Patrol which was attached to the bracelet.

We started the weekend with an adhesive package for their pillow gift (I think I mentioned this in an earlier post)

At Saturday breakfast they each received a box of Celestial Seasons Tea and a cookie

Saturday Lunch treat was this adorable Mini Pizza Box that Janell put together with the Turtle Friends Stamp Set

It held a full sizes chocolate and pecan turtle candy

Saturday dinner time treat was this cute mug and I asked Dawn to put the wording on it

We filled it with hot chocolate packets, a tube of mini, dehydrated marshmallows and some Andes Mints

The following morning for breakfast before everyone left for home was this Happy Trails bag that Janell put together with some yummy trail mix inside

The front that is attached to the bag is a full size card front that they can untie and use for a card

The Saturday night pillow gift was a box of Russell Stover candy with a thank you Christmas tag attached thanking them for attending our retreat.

I received some pillow gifts too from Janell. She remembered when we went to Florida 3 years ago for the Stampin' Up! OnStage event and I put a pillow gift on her bed every day. She wanted to treat me well too.

Prize Patrols included these cute little jars that Debbie donated. Their was one for everyone

and Janell made some scissor charms for everyone (sorry forgot to get a photo) and I didn't get pictures of every winner, but everyone went home winning once.

The center gift, in the Stampin' Up box, was my Christmas gift to everyone which was a small hand sanitizer and a cloth (like what you would clean your glasses with) and a Clear Block B that I had etched our team name on.

Another team member also took a couple pictures of her stash which shows the first pillow gift and the Russell Stover candy pillow gift and the breakfast tea and cookie.

I believe our first retreat was a big hit and I am anxious to start planning the next one.
I cannot begin to say how much I am thankful for my team, and it is perfect to post this on Thanksgiving day.

Team Christmas Party

On Saturday night of our Stampin' Retreat we had our Team Christmas Party

We all sat in a circle and we requested that everyone bring their gift in a brown paper grocery bag, stapled shut so that they all looked the same. Janell and I took their gifts when they arrived on Friday night and then passed them out when the party started, therefore no one would know who brought which one.

We played a game that I found on Pinterest and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Using 2 dice we went around the circle, rolling the dice. If you rolled a "snake eyes" (double ones) you got to take one of the full sized candy bars that I had in the center of the circle (I had 6 of them). If you rolled a double then you could trade with someone else or you could make two other people trade their gifts. If they rolled a 5 we passed our gift one to the right and if you rolled a 9 we passed our gifts two to the left. When all 6 candy bars had been won, the very next snake eyes rolled would be the winner, and win the "big" gift that I had in the center of the circle. The funny thing is that I was the one to roll the final snake eyes so we just kept going until someone else won.

Marlane was the big winner - inside the box was a pint jar filled with M&M's, but in the center I had an empty toilet paper tube, and inside that tube was a gift certificate for a $20 spending spree with me.

Prior to coming to the retreat I told everyone to come prepared with festive wear for the party and Chris sure didn't disappoint

Everyone really enjoyed our new game, and the gifts that they received. I never took pictures during the game because I was in the moment, enjoying the time with my team.

Shoebox Swaps Part 4

I saved these cards for last because they were all prepared by Linda B

She went way-way over and above by preparing 4 shoebox swap cards for everyone

These first 2 cards are sooooo cute! She called them "floating cards". The designer paper was attached to a window sheet, then cut out with the Triangle Dies. Card #1 uses the beautiful Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper

and card #2 uses the Tidings of Christmas Designer Paper

The next 2 cards are alike but made in different sizes, and she used the All Squared Away Bundle

This second card is a 5"x5" card

Linda even made everyone a special size envelope to fit the larger card - AND - check this out...

She had print outs for some homemade envelope glue so I thought that I would share it with you too
