New In-Color Make & Take

At this month's team meeting I was in charge of the Make & Take project.

I knew that I wanted to feature the new In-Colors, and I also knew that I wanted to do more than a bookmark or a color chart. 

I saw a card on Pinterest by Rose Packer using the in colors from one year ago and thought it would be a great idea so I made this card:

Pretty, right? well, I felt it looked a little "flat" or plain so I decided to "step-it-up" as Stampin' Up! encourages. We have beginner stampers, moderate stampers, and avid stampers, so I set to work to make a "moderate" card

The first thing that I changed up was the orientation of the card to a 4-1/4" x 11" card and then I embossed the card front with the PAINTED TEXTURE 3D Embossing Folder.

Step 3 - to make an avid card

This time I added another layer 4" x 5-1/4" and then I embossed that piece as well. This time I chose the TIMEWORN TYPE 3D Embossing Folder and I popped this layer up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I also added some of the new In-Color Dots.

For the team meeting we made the moderate style card, and I set out all of the current embossing folder that I own so that they could choose which one they wanted to use - which one do you like best??

The HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting comes from the ARTISTICALLY INKED Stamp Set, and the beautiful die cut is also from the ARTISTIC DIES.

It was so cool when one of the gals texted me the next day, thanking me for the meeting and the Make & Take and that she was going to use that layout for her next class. I LOVE IT!!
