Christi's Creative Crew: Playing With Robots

I decided to pull out my ROBOT BUDDIES kit and make up some cards to have on hand for kids

I started with this first one but it felt a little "flat" to me by using the stickers 'as-is' so I made the next one by popping it up. I had to de-stick it with my embossing buddy. The gifts are from a retired Christmas stamp set that I fussy cut out. I used the card base from the kit (Bermuda Bay) and cut it down to 3-3/4" x 5" then mounted it on Basic Gray 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and then onto a Thick Basic White Base.

This next card I stamped the robots directly onto the white piece from the kit and the Happy Birthday from Slim Sayings. Then I embossed it with the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder.

I added the eyes from the kit for the larger robot but added small black google eyes from my stash for the smaller robot.

The base on these next two cards is from the kit - the nuts & bolts pattern is very subtle, but I added layers which helps.

This last one was made on one of the bases that were included in the kit
