OK Now on to my post for today AND a video!
Remember the gift card holder that I posted on Monday?
Today's video will show you how to make this style gift card holder, and today I am using the LET IT SNOW SPECIALTY DESIGNER PAPER, SNOWMAN SEASON STAMP SET & the SNOWMAN BUILDER PUNCH.

And remember I told you that I had some "Happy Accidents"?
When I punched out the 2" circle for the gift card holder I ended up with this piece:
I totally could NOT let that piece go unused. To me it looked like a winter cap, and who best to wear a winter cap than a darling snowman?
I pulled out my LAYERING CIRCLES DIES and chose circles #1, #2, & #3 (counting up from the smallest)
I also cut the half circle down to size using circle #1 so it would fit on my snowman best.
I chose one of the designs from the LET IT SNOW SPECIALTY DESIGNER PAPER, and then started to build my card front.
What do you think?
I used the twig die from the SEASONAL LAYERS DIES (that coordinates with COLORFUL SEASONS Stamp Set) and Soft Suede Card Stock.
Here is another "Happy Accident"
Have you ever cut out a detailed die and come up with a bunch of "confetti" pieces?
I remember when I was younger we would collect anything resembling confetti and bring it to the football games only to "litter" the stands with this confetti. It was a lot of fun, but totally messy. I would not have wanted to be the custodian that had to clean up after us high schoolers after a game!
I cut this piece out using the WILD ROSE DIES for a different card, when I saw all these cute diamond shapes and I was SURE there would be a use for them somewhere down the road.
As you can see my snowman has diamond shaped coal buttons (cut from Basic Black Card Stock).
My snowman's mouth was made using the little dots you can see in the center of the flowers in this photo, and his eyes came from the DELIGHTFUL TAG TOPPER PUNCH.
For his nose I simply snipped a piece of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock in a triangular shape.
He really came to life when I added the white marks in his eyes using a white gel pen. (no longer sold by Stampin' Up!)
