Natural Touch Specialty Paper

 Another CASE card!

This time I CASED Rachel Tessman - however I changed it up to make it my own

I wanted to use some of my Natural Touch Specialty Paper - in fact I made several cards using this paper lately - I will share them with you! You will WANT to pick up some of this paper!

But I do have some tips for you...

IF you plan to stamp directly onto the paper you will want to use Clear Embossing Powder and heat set the ink or it WILL smear. The paper has a sheen to it.  I tried to use the Stampin' Blends on it and that did not turn out great either (because of the sheen), but there is so much you can do and these cards turn out so rich!

You get 2- 12" x 12" sheets for only $5.00

I changed up the sentiment using the Happiest of Birthday's stamp set

I also stamped the butterflies with full strength ink to have them stand out using Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana and Highland Heather. Granny Apple Green for the leaves.

The butterflies are from Floating & Fluttering (which is not in the new annual catalog and will retire as of June 30th.

I think this one is my favorite because it uses my favorite Gold Hoops (and they are retiring - grab some NOW). the butterflies on these two cards are from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set which is in the new annual catalog. This card was inspired by Mary Deatherage
Mary added some vellum overlays to her butterflies, but I kept mine simple. She also used a totally different color scheme for her card base and first layer. She used the butterflies that come with the Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper, but I did not have enough so I stamped them with Basic Gray and colored them in using Stampin' Blends. My "Congratulations" comes from a brand new stamp set INSPIRING THOUGHTS. I left off the pearls figuring the Gold Hoop gave enough bulk to the card (however - one gold hoop will NOT add to your postage)
This last card was also inspired but *sigh* I cannot remember who and my search left me lost.  So sorry!
I used the Golden Garden Specialty Acetate and the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon. The Acetate is also retiring.
My card measures 4" wide (by 5-1/2") to get the bigger bang for my buck. I attached my Natural Touch Paper to some thick basic white card stock.
I colored in the butterflies using the brand new Blending Brushes which makes it so easy!
The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Here's a Card (retiring), and I added some Black Matte Dots (returning). Quick and easy because all of the butterflies stamp with one big stamp and cut out with one die. Pretty slick!
