Our daughter in law is expecting their fourth baby any time soon.
Her actual due date is September 5th, and even though she has never delivered early before with the first three, she is experiencing signs that she may come sooner.
With all that said, I thought that I would do a count down to baby's due date by sharing some baby cards.
They do not know what they are having, choosing to have the surprise when baby arrives so I will share a baby girl card and a baby boy card each day until this sweet new little one arrives.
This baby girl card was inspired by one I saw on social media but they did not have a name for me to link to.
So VERY cute using the Polished Pink 6x6 Designer Paper Pack and the Hostess exclusive mega designer pack.
Before I go on let me tell you how amazing this paper pack is...
PATTERN PARTY has 48 - 12x12 double sided sheets where one side is a pretty, colorful, print, and the flip side is a black and white print. Two of the black and white prints are featured on this card. You can get this large pack of paper by hosting your own "party" or just collecting a minimum of $150.00 in orders, then you can "purchase" this paper pack with your hostess rewards.
Card #1 features the super fun TURTLE FRIENDS Stamp Set TURTLE punch, and the Polished Pink Organza Ribbon. The edges were die cut with the BASIC BORDERS Die set, and I used the MESSAGES Die for the sentiment on the front. The stars were cut with the GIVE IT A WHIRL Dies.
For the inside I used a new favorite stamp set called ONE HAPPY FAMILY. Super, super fun!!
I designed card #2 from a layout in the annual catalog using the MEASURE OF LOVE Stamp Set.
BUT... I had to alter it a bit. I wanted to use the little baby stamp from a retired stamp set called FAMILY & FRIENDS, and the scale was just too large for my tiny baby. So...I resized the scale and the two bowls to 80%, fussy cut them out, and colored them with my STAMPIN' BLENDS.
Once again I used the PATTERN PARTY Designer Paper, the BASIC BORDERS Dies, and the ONE HAPPY FAMILY Stamp Set. I stamped the "congratulations with VERSA MARK ink and heat embossed with with white embossing powder onto Pool Party card stock.
