Christi's Creative Crew: Hat's Off to a Happy Birthday

Our youngest son, Joey, celebrated his 35th birthday this weekend.

Oh so hard to believe that my "baby" has hit this milestone.

Joey was our baseball player, playing from little league through his senior year of high school.

Even after high school they would have a late summer game with the current baseball team and the alumni, and Joey played that game for a few years until his shoulder went wacky.

It was very appropriate to make Joey a ball cap card from his favorite team - the Detroit Tigers. In fact he chose to propose to his wife at the game tiger statue in front of the Tiger Stadium.

I had to grab a Detroit Tiger image from Google and size it appropriately to fit the front of his hat. Shhh...I made one of these cards for our daughter for her April 11th birthday next year. (good thing she doesn't check in on my blog posts!!) She is a huge Detroit Tiger fan, and enjoys the friendly competition with her fella who is a New York Yankee fan.
