Christi's Creative Crew: My View From Where I Lay

It's been one week since our accident

I have become great friends with my bed. 99% of the time I am laying here, but gradually, day by day, I am gaining strength.

This is my view

I have been receiving some lovely cards from friends and coloring pages from our grand kids.

This is another view from where I lay - I am never without one, two or three little companions

Today (Thursday) I sat in a chair to eat my lunch - this was my view

I think they were hoping to grab a bite with me!

One week later, I am seeing new strength each day, but my time up or sitting is more painful than laying down. The meds, also, make me a bit sleepy - although I might be sleepy because I cannot seem to sleep more than 2-3 hours at one time.

Since I cannot get downstairs to work on my cards, I will be sharing the pretty cards that I receive or that my team members share with me.

I am still hoping to hold my Christmas Card Class on October 30th from 9am to 4pm.

I will most likely stay in my comfy chair and still be able to direct you. I'm hoping Dale will help me go downstairs this weekend for a few minutes to check things out. I guess I will play it by ear, day by day.
