Christi's Creative Crew: Mischievous Mice

These are the cards that I shared with the team at our meeting using the Mischievous Mice Hostess Stamp Set from the January to June Mini Catalog.

The balloon is made by stamping the balloon onto the SIMPLY MARBELOUS Designer Paper, fussy cut out, then glued onto the original balloon. Of course, you can color the balloon using your Stampin' Blends, but I loved how the paper gave it this cool texture look. I also use the BASIC BORDERS Dies for an interesting look

I used some sketch challenges to create these cards and used the PATTERN PARTY Designer Series Paper Pack that is a Hostess exclusive item.

I had started by making this cute mouse card using the NUTS ABOUT YOU Stamp Set and making the squirrel into a mouse as seen by Rachel Tessman (who got the idea from Diana Gibbs)

The small circle on card #1 is from when I cut out these circles using the PICTURE THIS Die.

The new 3D embossing folder is from a 2-pack called STRIPES & SPLATTERS (and this one is the splatters). I did find that I needed to spritz the cardstock with water to get a deeper impression, but the water is NOT needed with the stripes folder.
