Christi's Creative Crew: Team Swap Cards

At our January Team Meeting we had a team card SWAP using products from the new January-June Mini Catalog and/or the January-February Sale-a-bration brochure.

Our first card was made by Janell

She used the EDEN'S GARDEN stamp set

Card #2 was made by Carla

Carla used the GRASSY GROVE BUNDLE and some of the new Designer Paper you can get FREE during Sale-a-bration

Card #3 is from Susan G -

She used the SWEET CONVERSATION BUNDLE

Card #4 is from Marlane. She actually gave us the front of the card without color so that we could make it to our liking. I chose calypso coral, mint macron, poppy parade and misty moonlight. The glasses frames are colored in with crumb cake

Card #5 is from Inez using the AWESOME OTTERS Stamp Set and making it a calendar card, and she too used the SIMPLY MARBELOUS Designer Paper (I have a feeling we are going to see a lot of this paper)

Card #6 is from Pam who used the FRIENDLY HELLO Stamp Set and the coordinating Designer Paper that you can get both for FREE with a qualifying $100.00 purchase during Sale a bration.

I love how she used a layer of vellum over the designer paper. This paper is pretty soft in color but the vellum adds just that little extra bit of elegance.

Card #7 - A few of us used the FRIENDLY HELLO Stamp Set. This one is from Jodie and she used the HEART & HOME Cards and Envelopes as well as the HEART & HOME Doilies.

Card #8 is from Dawn who also used the FRIENDLY HELLO Stamp Set and the coordinating Designer Paper

This is the swap card that I made... I also jumped on the FRIENDLY HELLO Stamp Set band wagon!!

I own a Brother Scan 'n Cut machine so I was able to avoid a bunch of fussy cutting by stamping a full sheet of birds on the branch, and a second sheet of the larger flowers, run it through my Scan 'n Cut and voila! I had all these cute little birdies cut out with little to no effort. I love to be able to pop up my images because it gives it a nice dimension.

and I am going to give credit where credit is due. I snagged this idea from Marcie B.

What I changed up: the ribbon. Marcie used the NEW White Frayed Ribbon and I used what I had on hand. The White Frayed Ribbon is already so popular that it is on the unorderable list.
