I wasn't sure how I felt about the On Line Exclusives when they first came out. Mostly because most of my stamping clients/friends would rather have a printed copy that they can hold in their hands and browse through. However, some of the products in the On Line Exclusive section of the On Line store are so great that I have a hard time not buying them. In fact, some of them last longer than products in the regular catalog AND... we get new product introduced every other month.
One of my favorites has been the MAGNOLIA MOODS Bundle.
Here are two cards that I made recently for my Tuesday stampers
I was inspired by Su Mohr for this first card. The Designer Paper in the background of the two white strips is from FRESH AS A DAISY 12x12 Designer Paper Pack (it's on the Last Chance List)Measurements:
Basic White Cardstock: 1 3/8″ X 5 1/2″ (x2),
Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper: 3 1/2″ X 5 1/2″.
After gluing the white pieces to the DSP, I gave it texture with the Splatters Embossing Folder, and glued it to a Granny Apple Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded 4 1/4″.
What I changed up: The die for the sentiment. I used one of the dies from Quiet Meadows Dies.
For card #2 I cut the card base of Thick Basic White at 8" x 5-1/2" and scored it at 4"
I cut the (retired) Gingham DSP at 5-1/2" x 4" (a little smaller than the normal sizing).
I cut a piece of Basic White out using the (retired) Stitched Rectangle Dies (2nd to the largest) and embossed it with the (retired) Basketweave Embossing Folder.
The beautiful flower is stamped with Basic Gray and colored in with Balmy Blue and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends. I also stamped and cut out the single leaf, and cut out some extra leaves with Lemon Lime Twist card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from UNBOUNDED LOVE with Basic Gray and cut it out with the (retired) Stitched Rectangle Die and then backed it with a piece of Balmy Blue that I also cut from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
All of this was popped up onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals
I found some Balmy Blue dots in my retired stash and put them to good use.
