After the first Christmas card class I had so many more Christmas cards prepped and planned that I would never have room for in a weekly class so I booked another Christmas card class for Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 at 9:00 each day.

Cost is only $2.00 per card as long as you bring your own adhesive

Encircled In Nature Wreath

This card looks a little "Springy" but I wanted to share it because I used a cute little bird from the 2024 Sale a bration designer paper that we could earn FREE with a qualifying purchase, and Sale a bration is coming soon in 2025. Crazy that this year is flying by so fast, but I cannot wait to see what the FREE products will be in the next brochure.

The sentiment comes from UNBOUNDED LOVE - this is a great stamp set for varieties of words and occasions.

The base of the card is Lemon Lolly with the wreath in Mossy Meadow & Soft Seafoam. 

You can use whatever embossing folder you like (I used EXPOSED BRICK) or you can leave it plain or flat. I personally love to emboss thinking that it gives the card so much more life.

The Basic White piece is cut from the PERENNIAL POSTAGE Dies.

Fluffiest Friends For My Little Neighbor

I made this darling card for one of our sweet little neighbor girls using the FLUFFIEST FRIENDS Online Exclusive stamp sets, and the BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS stamp set for the sentiment.

I'm afraid that both of these stamp sets are no longer available.

However, the BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL 6x6 designer paper is still in the annual catalog.

This card was inspired by Julie Davison, but what I changed up... I did NOT make my card a fancy fold, but I do want to do that fancy fold with another stamp set and DSP at some point. You can check it out HERE

The designer paper is cut 4" x 5-1/4" and when you cut the 4" part first you will get enough left over for both the envelope flap and the 1/2" x 4" strip for the inside of your card - rounding everything out.

The circles are: the second largest circle from STYLISH SHAPES and the white piece is punched with the 2-3/8" circle punch.

The cute little bunny was colored in with Stampin' Blends: Smoky light and dark, Bubble Bath light and dark, Cherry Cobbler Dark, and Azure Afternoon light.

Chevron Fold Card

I learned a new technique called CHEVRON FOLD by Patty Bennett 

She followed the instructions from Mindless Crafting

I had a bunch of scraps from the SEASON OF ELEGANCE, and you only need 5 pieces of 2-1/2" x 1" to create the chevron - then you can create whatever card you want.

HOWEVER...when I first saw her card all I could see was Charlie Brown's yellow shirt with the black chevron across the front

I googled to see if Charlie Brown had a birthday, and low & behold, he does!! He had a birthday on October 30th.  This is what google said

Charlie Brown is the only character to appear in the first Peanuts comic strip from October 2, 1950 and the last one from February 13, 2000. According to a 1950 comic strip, his birthday is on October 30 but no strips from October 30 in subsequent years make reference to this.

So...my first chevron fold card HAD to be a Charlie Brown card

I have a friend that was letting me borrow some of her Charlie Brown stamps so I used one of those for the inside

When I watched the video she said that her card front to hold the chevron was 4" x 5-1/4", but when I assembled it the chevron hung over the edges of that size.  Therefore, I cut my Christmas card 5-1/2" wide (x 3-3/4") and when I added the chevron, I ended up having to trim off the edge because it didn't go all the way to the edge. Who knows!! Always be ready to alter!!

I have a fellow Charlie Brown/Snoopy friend so I will save this card for her birthday

In fact she bought me this cute calendar for 2025

We made another card for the Tuesday stampers, based on a card I saw on Split Coast Stampers

Super fun! It was a big hit!!
