Christi's Creative Crew: Happy Veterans Day, Daddy!

So happy to honor my 98 year old dad this Veterans Day!

He served in WW11 on a mine sweeper. Thankfully God protected his life or I and my three sisters would not be here, (and the multiple lives that he has impacted over these years) This photo was taken just last month when we took him to the Frederick Meijer Gardens. What a beautiful scenic walk - he was so happy to get outside.

He didn't talk about his time in the service for many many years, but within the last 10 years or so he has opened up so we can understand what he endured.

He is a man of God with love for my momma (who passed away 6 years ago), and for his four girls.

This is the card that I made for him using RAYS OF LIGHT stamp and some clip art from the computer.
