Day 2 of the Glitter Retreat we worked on the Shoebox Swaps that 20 of us participated in.
Card 1 used Charming Day Bundle
Card #2 uses DELICATE PINES Card #3 uses the Sunflower Hybrid Embossing Folder
Card #4 - This Tractor & Co card was probably the most labor intensiveCard #5 also uses the Sunflower embossing folder. I need to add a sentiment to this next card - just wanted to change it up to something other than what she offeredCard #6Card #7 uses the THOUGHTFUL JOURNEY DSP - I changed it up from the original by snagging a sentiment from the SUNRISE SAILING stamp set that someone had out for their card.Card #8 a cute Halloween Card using the SPOOKY HALLOWEEN bundle Card #9 Also used the THOUGHTFUL JOURNEY DSPCard #10 was from Davette. Not everyone had their name on their cards. This beautiful Christmas card was the easiest and most beautiful.Card #11 uses the SWEET JAR bundle - I changed this card up as well because she had the four leaf clover stamp on hers in pink and I thought the hearts would be better so I could use it for Valentine's Day. That's why I didn't put a sentiment on it yet
Card #14 was Kim's Card - We shared a table with her too
Card #15 was Laura's Card - she was the 5th member of our table
Card #16 Features YOU ARE REMARKABLE Stamp Set - This one I changed up too. Her base of Strawberry Slush was flat so I wanted to add some embossing. First I tried the MINI CORRUGATED EF but that chewed up my card front so I had to cut it down to 4" x 5-1/4" and add Basic White Base (luckily I had taken extra with me). She also didn't have a backing to the flower image so I improvised by taking a piece of Basic White and swiping Memento Ink across it to create black card stock. The sentiment that I have on the front of my card is the sentiment she chose for the inside of her card. It just fit what I would use a little better.
Card #17 Features the BEAUTIFUL GALLERY DSP - love this paper!!, but she did have to use 2 sheets of of DSP for one card. I changed up the sentiment again to a retirement card.
Card #19 I shared with you on a previous post because it was the one that I prepared for everyone using the SILLY SAFARI stamp set
Card #20 uses the OTTERLY AMAZING Stamp Set and Paper - (this is all retired product)
We were able to complete 11 cards on Friday and finished the rest up on Saturday, plus we made up the cards that Dawn had prepared for us that I shared with you yesterday.
