Christi's Creative Crew: BBQ Master

One of the new On Line Exclusive stamps sets/bundle is so perfect for the guys in your life. The BBQ MASTER bundle is versatile as you could use it for birthdays, Father's Day or even for making invitations for a summer cook out party. Oh, and don't forget SCRAPBOOKING!!

The card that I am sharing today was inspired by Kylie Bertucci. The look is the same, however I made a couple subtle changes.

Kylie heat embossed her grill and I simply stamped it with Black ink.

Kylie used the Nested Essentials Dies of the Smoky Slate Piece, but to get the extended size, you would need to run it through the cutting machine twice. I would never ask my Tuesday stampers to do this, and I wasn't willing to put in the extra time to prepare so many pieces like this. Therefore I cut my Smoky Slate at 2-3/8" x 4". Then I used a corner rounder for the edges. The images are stamped with Basic Gray ink as well as the edges sponged with some Basic Gray ink as well. I cut the Basic Black to back it at 2-9/16" x 4-3/16".

The extra stamp used for a little grunge look is from NATURE'S SYMPHONY.

The sentiment is stamped on Basic Black with Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder.
