I never dreamed that Stampin' Up! would get the copyrights for my most beloved character - Winnie the Pooh!

Let me tell you a story... My beloved Auntie Cene (Maxine) worked in the children's department at Sears for many years. When I was little, I was very tiny and I could wear the clothing she sold until I was nearly through grade school. At that time, Sears held the only right to sell Winnie the Pooh, so if you wanted anything Pooh you had to shop at Sears. Even when I was grown and started my own family, she was still working there, and our kids always got the most fun Pooh clothes and "stuff". To this day I miss my auntie so very, very much! She was a cut above. Perhaps this is why I am such a super fan of Pooh. In later years we actually had a cockapoo puppy that we named Pooh, and now we have our Lucy who carries my aunties name. Of course, we usually only use her full name LUCY MAXINE when she is in trouble!!
When my sweet mama celebrated her 90th birthday, the Christopher Robin movie came out, so all 4 of us girls took her to the theatre to see it. Not sure how much she understood the movie because at that time her mind was enveloped with dementia, and we lost her only 2 months later. What a precious memory.
As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I was able to purchase this suite several weeks in advance, and have had so much fun playing with it. I designed 2 cards and a box using these products for my May Card Club gals and I will share that with you after that class. (don't want to spoil the fun for them)
