Are you a "Black Friday Shopper?"

It's a BIG NO for me!!

My habits after Thanksgiving is to get all of my Christmas cards ready for the mail, and to hand deliver to the church mailboxes.

Next up is to pull out the Christmas tree from the attic and get the lights on it. Do a little decorating around the house, but the ornaments will wait until the grand kids can come to put them on with us.

Each year we buy them a new ornament that goes on our tree. We save them here for each year, and when they grow up and get a place of their own, they will get to take them all with them.

The fun part is watching our older grands - each year the ornaments get higher on the tree, and they like to put them on in order of the year that they got them, and remember what they did that year. This year they will all receive ornaments that we purchased on our trip to St Simons Island.

This is the Christmas card that I made for 2 year old Liam using the Santa Designer Paper. I'm not a huge Santa fan, but I thought that he would like it.

This year might look a little different because I am recovering from pneumonia. Sure does put a cramp in your style when you get side-lined.
