Mischievous Mice

Our church celebrates every new baby born to those who attend, but when there is a first baby of the family, they are treated to a baby shower.

It has been my habit to make up a dozen thank you notes for the new mom to use to send to the people who so generously gift them.

The most recent shower is actually for family - my cousins son and daughter-in-law are having their first baby. I guess this would make it a third cousin to me. So much fun to watch the family grow.

They decided to not learn the sex of the baby so that they can have a fun surprise when it arrives.  Therefore I needed a neutral color theme. Yellow's and grays are a favorite color combo of mine.

I can fit 6 of the cards in each box, and then this next card is a note card size (3-1/2 x5) to add to the gift bag. I used my favorite go-to stamp for the "thanks to you from baby & me" from Cuddles & Kisses - a retired set.

Inspired by Debbie Henderson
Product used:

• Mischievous Mice Stamp Set
• Happy & Heartfelt Stamp Set
• Gingham Embossing Folder
• Hey Sports Fan Designer Paper
• Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Windowpane Check Ribbon
• Classic Matte Dots (gray)
• Cardstock: Evening Evergreen (11" x 4-1/4" scored at 5-1/2"), Gray Granite (5-1/4 x 4 embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder), Hey Sports Fan Designer Paper (2" x 5-1/4"), Basic White cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies that measure 4-3/8" x 3"
• Stampin' Blends: Gray Granite & Daffodil Delight Combo packs

The little congratulations and die is from Many Messages. For the little mouse I simply cut off the balloon from the stamped image, fussy cut out and adhered to the circle die with Tombo Liquid Glue, then popped up on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals

I "Otter-ly" Love You

This is the Valentine card that I made for our newest grandson, Oliver

I used the new AWESOME OTTERS stamp set that you can get for FREE during Sale a bration (through February 28, 2022)

Such a cute little otter. I used the SWEET CONVERSATIONS stamp set for his little hearts and the WORD WISHES DIES and the DOTTED HEARTS EMBOSSING FOLDERS

This layout was originally inspired by the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set, but I wanted to incorporate a new stamp set to show how you can always change things up.

I have some good news to share with all of you

Garden Grove & New Horizons

The cards I am sharing today are from the GARDEN GROVE DIES and the NEW HORIZONS 6x6 Designer Paper pack.

The New Horizons designer paper is so gorgeous and makes the best background without having to do a single thing. I simply semi-copied this from the January to June Mini Catalog. I omitted the gold embossed trees, and I added the happy birthday banner. These cards will be out in a week or so for the ladies to make at one of the Come Stamp With Me Tuesday classes, and there is a variety of backgrounds so that every card will look slightly different.

Hats Off For Your Birthday

My sisters are some of my best card customers! Our mother taught us well to encourage one another with cards. She was the BEST card sender, and thoughtful person. But since my sisters don't want to make cards they are happy to buy them from me.

This card was a special request from one of my sisters for one of her sons-in-law. It was inspired by Debbie Henderson
