Mischievous Mice

Wednesday, January 19, 2022

These are the cards that I shared with the team at our meeting using the Mischievous Mice Hostess Stamp Set from the January to June Mini Catalog.

The balloon is made by stamping the balloon onto the SIMPLY MARBELOUS Designer Paper, fussy cut out, then glued onto the original balloon. Of course, you can color the balloon using your Stampin' Blends, but I loved how the paper gave it this cool texture look. I also use the BASIC BORDERS Dies for an interesting look

I used some sketch challenges to create these cards and used the PATTERN PARTY Designer Series Paper Pack that is a Hostess exclusive item.

I had started by making this cute mouse card using the NUTS ABOUT YOU Stamp Set and making the squirrel into a mouse as seen by Rachel Tessman (who got the idea from Diana Gibbs)

The small circle on card #1 is from when I cut out these circles using the PICTURE THIS Die.

The new 3D embossing folder is from a 2-pack called STRIPES & SPLATTERS (and this one is the splatters). I did find that I needed to spritz the cardstock with water to get a deeper impression, but the water is NOT needed with the stripes folder.

These beautiful cards were shared by Pam.

She used the CALMING CAMELLIA Stamp Set which is a FREE product during Sale A Bration if your order or hostess order reaches $300.00

I really love how she added a touch of Fresh Freesia - it is so subtle but really packs a WOW! especially when you see it in person.

The beautiful designer paper is also a FREE product during Sale A Bration called SIMPLY MARBELOUS. It comes in Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Blushing Bride, Bumblebee, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, So Saffron.

The one shown is the Misty Moonlight/Pool Party combo.

Team Shares

Sunday, January 16, 2022

Last week was our team meeting

What a fun night to be together and to share the Stampin' Up! news as well as share what we've been working on.

Here are some of the shares that the girls brought with them to share with the team

These are the 4 cards that Sue shared from her November class

This is one of the stamp sets that carried over to the July-December Mini catalog, but has since retired.

These next two cards were made with the Peaceful Prints Specialty Paper. She stated that she made four different cards using this paper. The gals who saw it in the catalog thought it was ugly, but when Sue showed it all made up, she sold MANY packages of this paper. Good thing she did this in her November class because this paper sold out before the catalog ended.

The cute little silhouette kids is a long past retired stamp set, but I love how it is perfect on this card to fill in that empty space on the designer paper.

Sue said that this 3D project would hold a packet of hot chocolate for gift giving

These next cards were shared by Janell - Janell is in Sue's downline...

This first card was actually one that she made at Sue's class. FRIENDS ARE LIKE SEASHELLS Stamp Set

Janell has been having fun with the new HELLO LADYBUG stamp set and punch

Here's another cute one

This next card was made with the ARTFULLY LAYERED Bundle

Last, but not least is this one from the DAHLIA DAYS Bundle

Daffodil Afternoon

Thursday, January 13, 2022

There are some amazing FREE designer papers available in the January - February Sale-a-bration brochure, and the Daffodil Afternoon patterned paper is just one example.

This card Inspired by Tracy Bradley is super simple and quick to make, but the elegant designer paper makes it look - well - elegant!! I also used the ELEGANTLY SAID Stamp Set for my sentiment.

I can picture using this fold on a variety of cards just switching up the paper and stamp set

What I changed up: I made it a birthday card instead of a thank you card because that in what we have more requests for. (that, and sympathy) which I think that this card could easy be a sympathy card.

What's Cookin' Thank You

Tuesday, January 11, 2022

Such a fun stamp set!

This one is called WHAT'S COOKIN'

I think this will be a great card to send someone when you are gifted with a meal, etc.

At our church we support one another by supplying meals for those who are in need.

Most recently we brought in a meal to a family where the mom is undergoing chemo therapy.

It is such a joy to serve others.

Dale and I have been on the receiving end of meals on several occasions over the years from when we had a new baby or recently when I had to undergo several surgeries.

This card was inspired by Cheri

Colors: Basic White and Petal Pink (5-1/2" x 3-3/4")

Pattern Party DSP & Basic White cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies

JUST A HEADS UP: THE PATTERN PARTY DESIGNER PAPER PACK IS A HOSTESS EXCLUSIVE ITEM AND WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE AFTER THIS ANNUAL CATALOG, WHICH ENDS APRIL 30TH.

Ink: Poppy Parade, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink
