Sitting Pretty Again

Thursday, June 21, 2018
On yesterday's blog post I told you to stay tuned to see what I did for my Down line team at our monthly meeting...
Are you curious?
We featured the SITTING PRETTY Stamp Set and Dies like I mentioned yesterday.
I like to make a board up of all the pieces and options
The fancy bench (top left) needs to be stamped, then cut and if you cut off the back it makes a great table. The traditional bench (top right) is strictly a die. But look - it can also be a fence or shortened to make a chair.
Two puppies?? But there is only one puppy stamp in the set.  Well I followed the you tube video by Designer Chick who showed how to make a mirror image and get 2 puppies!
The cobblestone is for embossing only, but can also be cut out like you see above. You will want to purchase the EMBOSSING MATS for the best images using not only the emboss only dies, but you will be able to emboss using your cutting dies as well!! YES!! these are a MUST-HAVE!!
Another great perk for the PRETTY PARK DIES is that the dies come with 3 identical heart dies, making it so much easier if you need to cut out multiples.
The brick stamp is easy to line up because the stamp set is photopolymer and totally see through. Stamp it once, flip your stamp over and line up, and so on and so forth.
This is the card that they made for their Make & Take that night. Also inspired by Designer Chick
This time the cobblestone was embossed right onto the card front, and then using a sponge dauber we colored over the embossed image.
And look... Here is a video put out by Stampin' Up! for you to watch featuring the SITTING PRETTY Stamp Set and Dies
