Especially when there is no "real" reason to have someone send one (birthday, holiday, etc)
This arrived in my mailbox and I was so thankful for such a sweet card from a friend.

It's been a crazy winter blast storm here in Michigan and most everybody was getting cabin fever by day 4.
Schools were called off ALL WEEK, the post office even closed down for 2 days.
Of course, I had to get out to help my dad, but seriously there was NO traffic on our local roads and I stayed completely safe. Our sons does a TON of driving for his job and I am so thankful that he was safe home each night.
