Christi's Creative Crew: Case-ing The Catty, Painted Poppies

Casing the Catty again!

When there are so many great ideas right in front of us, why stretch my brain to come up with something new? It should encourage you to give it a try too.

This sample is found on page 25 of the annual catalog. I changed up the stamp set used on the mint macron card stock because I do not own the STITCHERY stamp set that they used so I pulled out my READY TO POP (retired) stamp set and used the vine-like stamp to create the design. It is made using Versa Mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder and cut at 5-1/2" x 3/4" and adhered to a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base that was scored and folded at 4-1/4".

A piece of Basic White card stock is cut at 5-1/4" x 3-1/4" and embossed with the Macrame' 3D embossing folder.

The stamp sets used are PAINTED POPPIES and PEACEFUL MOMENTS along with the coordinating PAINTED LABELS Dies.

The flowers were stamped onto white card stock (I used thick) and colored in with our fabulous Stampin' Blends in Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya, Mint Macron and Shaded Spruce. The accent sequins are from the EXPRESSIONS IN INK EPHEMERA PACK. They are so soft and subtle - I love the extra touch!
