Christi's Creative Crew: Moon Baby Christmas

Our youngest grandson, Oliver, is 3 months old today and we are so very thankful for him

I wanted to make a special Baby's First Christmas Card for him

I really loved this idea that I found on Pinterest from a German Demonstrator

What I changed:

I added a layer for dimension, and I printed out the sentiment for Oliver from my computer and popped it up with dimensionals. I also used a Santa hat sticker instead of stamping one.

The stamp set used on this card is called MOON BABY and is still one of my favorites when making baby cards.

This next card is one I made for our other grandson, Liam, age 1. I saw this phrase on line somewhere and thought it was perfect for our little Liam.

To use this sentiment is needed to have a Christmas tree on my card. I immediately thought of the cute Christmas trees in our November Paper Pumpkin kit. The issue now is that the tree is quite large and too big for our standard A2 envelopes. I could have created a slimline card and cut my tree in half from tip to base like I have seen some do, but I wanted to create my own.

I put my Christmas tree image on our printer and copied it at 75%. Since we have a very good printer for my hubbies business it works out pretty slick, and the colors are very comparable.

I had one of my little Elfies already cut out and waiting to be used so he made a perfect addition to Liam's card. I chose my colors according to the lights on the Christmas tree (Real Red & Pool Party).

Liam & Oliver are our two youngest grandchildren and it's kind of fun having two that are fairly close in age. The cards that I made for the other 5 are ones that I shared awhile back so I won't do a repeat.
