Christi's Creative Crew: Timeless Tulips & a Baby Card

The baby shower thank you cards are always a hit and so different from any other gift that is given. Kind of cool when you are known as the "card lady."

We were informed that there are so many new babies coming who are first babies, that I knew I should get busy on making some more to have on hand. Looks like I will be needing a set every month through July.

This is an Easter card that I made inspired by Cindy Brown

I used the CELEBRATING YOU Stamp Set from the January to June Mini Catalog, and I am very happy to say that this stamp set is in the NEW Annual Catalog that comes out May 3rd.

Inside: I used a non-Stampin' Up! sentiment for the inside (sorry)

This is the instructions that she gave:

When I was done making my Easter Cards I had a bunch of the Granny Apple Green triangles left over

They were not and "even" triangle so I pulled out my Stitched Triangle Dies and cut them down.

I started playing with layouts and how I could pull it into a baby card for the baby shower thank you notes, and ended up with this...

I will be making 4 each of the cute little babies from the WILDLY ADORABLE stamp set. (Which, by the way, is on the retiring/Last Chance List)

I have the little babes all cut out and the cards prepped, planning to put them together while I am on "puppy watch" for the next several weeks. I always pull out my CUDDLES & KISSES retired stamp set for the "thanks to you from baby and me" It just fits so perfectly.

Miss Lucy gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies late Sunday night and into early Monday morning. (a 2 hour ordeal) She did Great!! We are so proud of her. 3 little boys and 2 little girls

What's funny is that all of the boys are light and the two little girls are dark.
