Now that I have taken care of "business", how would you like to have a sneak peek of one of my favorite products from the new mini?
The ALPHABET ALA MODE DIES are my favorite! I always purchase the alphabets because I like to use them for my scrap-booking as well as my cards. When I saw this cute card on the Demonstrator Planning Place on FB (another great resource just for demonstrators) I knew that I just had to copy it so I could share it with you.
In fact, my Tuesday stampers made this card just yesterday. This card was inspired by Wendy Cranford
Such a super cute card using the THIS BIRTHDAY PIGGY Stamp Set (for a short time Stampin' Up! offered coordinating dies for this stamp set, but sadly they are sold out - however this image is easily cut out by hand)
The 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Vellum Cardstock was embossed with the BRICK & MORTAR 3D Embossing Folder, and is layered on a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of SWEET SORBET Cardstock, and then on a Thick Basic White Base that measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4".
The letters are cut out from Pale Papaya Cardstock and them colored with Stampin' Blends for an ombre look with light Pumpkin Pie and light & dark Pale Papaya.
TIP: attach some ADHESIVE SHEETS to the Pale Papaya Cardstock before cutting the letters out, making it easier to attach to your card front.
