Christi's Creative Crew: Lovliest Tree

Today my hubby & I celebrate 47 years of marriage! However, we have known each other our entire 67 years.

We are looking forward to celebrating with an Alaskan Cruise leaving in two weeks. It is a dream come true.

Do you remember the long ago stamp set called Lovely As A Tree? I thought that that stamp set would live forever. I believe it was the longest running stamp set they ever had. This stamp set is called LOVLIEST TREE.

This large tree reminds me of that stamp set.

I did pull out my Stamparatus to line everything up. My first try I stamped the tree crooked - who wants a leaning tree. I figured that my Tuesday stampers would appreciate using the Stamparatus.

The tree was stamped in Early Espresso and colored in with Old Olive, Garden Green and Early Espresso Watercolor pencils and blended together with the aid of a Blending Pen. They come in a pack of three for $14.

After I stamped and colored the tree onto a piece of Basic White that measures 3-3/4" x 5", I ran it through the embossing machine with the TIMBER embossing folder.
