Vacation Highlights

I know I haven't  posted in a while.

I was hoping to work on my blog posts during some down time on our Alaskan Cruise, but we only had internet for one product (one cell phone, one lap top) at a time. It was a bit more frustrating than we thought it would be so therefore I really picked and chose when to be on line.

We had a wonderful time meeting new friends, and visiting the quaint towns of Sitka, Skagway, Juneau and Victoria BC.

The Raptor Center in Sitka has many birds of prey who have been rescued.
If they are able to heal them, they will release them back to the wild, but many of them will need to live in this safe environment for the rest of their lives
Such a beautiful bird
This is a replica of the size of an eagles nest
Quaint little churches in the middle of town

This is a photo of our ship - The Quantum of the Sea

When we arrived we had this large magnet on our door

The gals, Shannon West, Brandy Barnard & Julie Salva, who headed up this cruise for us, gifted us this large, very cool bag, that was filled to the brim with all the products we would need for our 6 classes and Creativity Now

Each day we would find a new treat at our station - this is a glitzy purse, we all carried it with us to the first formal dinner.

Cute little cozy bear socks

A cute little box - what did it hold?

a super glittery Whale pin
And check out this view - it is the view I had from our crafting conference room

Our final sea port was Victoria British Columbia and our excursion was a whale watch
The boat that took us out to spot the whales...
These whales are monstrous!

On Monday when we left our ship, we had a full day to spend in Seattle Washington before our flight home that didn't leave until midnight.
We rode Seattle's BIG WHEEL which is 175 feet tall
And went to the top of the Space Needle that was built in 1961 for the Seattle World's Fair
this photo of the space needle was taken when we were at the top of the Big Wheel
And this is a view of Seattle from the Space Needle

This photo is taken inside the Space Needle
We also went to the Aquarium there.
Take a look at this Porcupine Fish!! He acted like he was just posing for us.
PEEK-A-BOO! A Vermilion Rock Fish
PEEK-A-BOO to you too. Very unusual fish, not sure what it was called
Puffins, Sea Otters, and Seals, Oh My!

Such a wonderful vacation! But so very happy to be home.
