This is such a fun, creative and easy way to make cards

Here are the cards that we made using our August kit called TIME FOR CAKE

There were 4 of us this month who gathered to put our kits together - it is such a fun community time and we bounce ideas off one another, steal some ideas from Pinterest (LOL!!) and just have a good time.

There are others who subscribe and choose to make up their kits at home, and that is perfectly fine, I just want everyone to do what is best for them.

Labeled With Love Stamp Set for the Sentiment, Stylish Shapes Dies for the circle die cut and Scalloped Contour Dies for the rectangle. (this last one is a retired product - I hope you have it!)

Dotted Circles Embossing Folder for the card on the left and Splatter Embossing Folder (retired) for the card on the right and they both are using the Gold Glimmer Specialty Paper

I added the number 8 and LILY for our grand daughter's scrapbook page for when she turns 8 in October.

With this kit we received a second bonus stamp set that has all the numbers on it.

Mini Alphabet Die for "celebration" and a retired birthday die were used in Gold Glimmer

The kit made such fun slim line cards too

Anna cut out the cake and plate to pup it up so that she could emboss the background

without embossing the cake

The candles were cut using the Happy Labels Die and using the insides of the envelopes

Patty always makes a set of 4 note cards because she gifts them away to here subscribers

Between the four of us we made 30 cards and I also made (on a separate day) two scrapbook pages. I used a lot of the elements from the kit on my scrapbook pages, but I was still able to get 8 cards out of what I had left. I think that is pretty good since the kit said that it made 9 cards!!

You can see some of our card are similar, but that's what makes it fun!
