Christi's Creative Crew: PUPPIES!!!

Three weeks ago today, our Sweet Tori gave birth to 6 adorable puppies.

It's not all happy news because two days later the last born passed away - just too weak to make it. (she is the one on the left with the 2 brown spots). We called her Poppy.

Little Poppy passed away at the exact same time that our granddaughter, Everleigh Hope, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus. What a tough day, but when I realized this connection, I get such joy envisioning Everleigh as a toddler running in heaven with a cute little puppy chasing after her.

Dale spent that day at the Animal Hospital because Tori wasn't doing well, and we were concerned. The Dr thought the five puppies all looked good, but later that evening we noticed puppy #1 (who we called Teddy) took a turn for the worse and he also didn't make it, passing away early Sunday morning.

Thankfully the remaining 4 puppies are strong and doing very well. Their eyes are open and they are getting around a bit more.

This is their one week picture. Dale had to bring Tori outside so that I could get some pictures. She was pretty possessive in these first weeks.

I think this is the sleepiest bunch of puppies!! I laid them in the big dos cushy bed while we changed out their bedding, and they were out like a light!
