A Painters Birthday Cake

Thursday, May 30, 2013

Last week Cherie came to decorate cakes with me again.  She received an airbrush for cake decorating for Christmas and said I could play with it when she came again, and it worked out perfectly.  The week before when Cherie was here we made a bunch of decorations with fondant and so Cherie went to work decorating the cake I made for her to work on.  I think she did an amazing job!  She airbrushed the red rose that is on her cake.

While Cherie was working on her cake, I was decorating this Paint Palette themed cake for Miss Lexi.  When Cherie and I were together the first time we also made these paint tubes from fondant to use on this cake I knew I would be making.  I used Cherie's airbrush painter for the top of the cake, and added "splashes" with the same edible ink.
This was a fun cake to make and I was happy with the turn out.
Stay tuned next week when I share the cakes that I am actually baking today and decorating tomorrow.  Oh, what a busy life!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Find out what kinds for warranties the appliances comes with.
The use of solar cellular structure in the home is usually quite higher-priced.
