I'm so excited to share another video with you all

I have been making boxes for many years so I am confident in creating a box when needed.

I had decided to gift my team with engraved bone folders for their Christmas gift. This is the one that a guy from church engraved for me a year ago so you can see that it is a little smudged and the Stampin' Up! logo has rubbed off, but the engraving will last forever!!

The next step was to decide how to package them.

When I was at the store I came across these giant Butterfinger candy bars and thought how yummy to gift them one of these candy bars and slip the Bone Folder (item #102300) on top.

I will say that it was a big hit!!

This is a box completed. Oh how I wish I would have taken a photo of all of the boxes. I used the CELEBRATE EVERYTHING Designer Paper for this wrap, and the SANTA EXPRESS Designer Paper for the other two.

I will make a side note that if your designer paper has a definite direction to the pattern, you need to pay attention to which way that you want it to go.

I only made boxes for those who attended the Christmas Party/Team Meeting in December, the rest I tucked inside a card to hand to them. (so if you are on my team and have not received your gift yet, this is a spoiler alert)

This is the measurements for the longer box:

Cut your card stock 12" x 5-1/2" - I used Basic White 12x12 card stock (item #159231)

Score at 7/8" and 2" on all 4 sides

Cut up on the solid lines and score on the dotted lines, cutting away the three squares on each corner.

Just on a side note you can buy 12x12 card stock in all of our colors. The Basic White and Very Vanilla come in a 12 pack and the color families come in a 20 count pack and you get 2 sheets each of 10 colors. Right now, in the July-December mini catalog you can purchase a 12 pack of Basic Black (item #124267). If you are a scrapbooker like me, it is nice to keep these 12x12 packs on hand.

Now if your candy bar is not as large you can always adjust the length of your box. This share-size snicker bar is smaller than the Butterfinger candy bar so I cut the length of the box at 10-1/4" but all of your other measurements are the same.

I didn't get real fancy, but I did create a matching tag for each box and added their name to it so that everyone got the correct Bone Folder.

For the Wrap:

Cut your designer paper 8-1/8" x 6-1/2"

Score at 1-1/4", 2-3/8", 3-7/8" & 5-1/16" (with the 6-1/2" at the top of your score tool or your trimmer with the scoring tool attached)

For the shorter box I cut the length down to 6-1/4" (x 6-1/2")
