Christi's Creative Crew: Fitting Florets

We are closing in on the end of the year and the end of the July to December Mini Catalog.

ALSO...Stampin' Up! introduced the FITTING FLORETS SUITE as an early release.

The FRAMED FLORETS Stamp Set & Dies are available to purchase in the NEW January to April Mini Catalog! Woo Hoo! However, the FRAMED & FESTIVE Stamp Set and the gorgeous FITTING FLORETS Designer Paper will NOT be in the new mini.

Therefore I thought that I should feature some cards made with this gorgeous paper so that you can be inspired to purchase a pack or two for your own card making.

Today's card was inspired by Mo Rootes.

I changed up the measurements to fit my liking, but I am sure they are very close to Mo's.

Here are my cutting instructions:

Evening Evergreen Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"

Basic White: 5-1/4" x approx 1" then cut using the scallop edge from the PENNED FLOWERS DIES (item #155557)

Blushing Bride Cardstock: 3-5/16 x 4-9/16 (I know - crazy, right? I love using the odd measurements so that every card looks a little different)

Fitting Florets Designer Paper: 3-5/16 x 4-9/16

Blushing Bride Cardstock: Cut an Oval Frame from the Framed Florets Dies

Basic White Cardstock: Cut the inside of the Oval from the Framed Florets Dies

Basic White Cardstock: 2 of the sprigs from the Framed Florets Dies

Soft Succulent Cardstock: 2 of the leaves from the Framed Florets Dies

The flower spray is cut from the Designer Paper using the Framed Florets Dies

Also used: White Bakers Twine (item #155475) and Pastel Pearls (item #154571)
