Christi's Creative Crew: Simply Fabulous

Sometimes I find some stamp sets or products in the catalog that I call a "sleeper". It's one that sometimes just get overlooked and not given the credit that is due.

The Simply Fabulous Stamp Set is one of those stamp sets that I overlooked

Of course, I'm just like anyone else - I see something made with it and then it is a MUST-HAVE. You can find this stamp set in the Annual Catalog item #159133

My first card was this darling one made with the Sale a bration Hippest Hippo stamp set. You can see my original post HERE

This second card was cased from Brandy's Cards

I had a couple 6x6 sheets of the Gorgeous Grape Designer Paper left (still current) and thought that I should make up some for the store. I love the color combo of Gorgeous Grape and Mango Melody.

Since Brandy did not post this on her blog I cannot give you a link, but I figured out the dimensions to share with you. Mind you, I am not sure of the dimensions that Brandy used but this is what I came up with...

Thick Basic White Base 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"

Designer Paper from the Brights Pack of 6x6 paper 3" x 4-1/4"

Mango Melody 3-15/16" x 2-1/2

Basic White for stamping 3-13/16 x 2-3/8"

Basic White for the sentiment 2-1/4" x 3"

I stamped the "just saying" with Gorgeous Grape then stamped it again on scrap white with Mango Melody and fussy cut the "hello" out and glued it down.

The flowers and leaves for the front piece were also fussy cut

I added some Smoky Slate dots to fill up space.

Basic White Twine from the Bakers Twine Essential Pack was wrapped twice around then tied in a bow.

I love it! it is bright and cheery!!
