Pretty Florals

Thursday, May 29, 2025
Today's card features the PRETTY FLORALS Stamp Set
It is available to purchase as a bundle
But today's card features just the stamps, FLORAL IMPRESSIONS Designer Paper and the MINI CORRUGATED Embossing Folder.
The "Thinking of You" sentiment comes from BEAUTIFUL MOTIFS and the gems are the STRAWBERRY SLUSH & PRETTY In PINK GEMS.
If you follow my blog at all, you will recognize my friend, Julie Gilson's name. I seem to case her projects a lot.
Where did she get the scalloped edge die from? Good question - it is from the ROUND WE GO Die Set.

Want in on a good deal from me?
When I went to North Carolina in March, where I (plus 3 of my team members) attended the OnStage yearly Stampin' Up! event, I was encouraged and challenged all at the same time because we learned about some changes that Stampin' Up! is making.

The challenge that I came away with for myself is to reach my $300,000 in sales by the end of September.
If I do I will get to walk the stage and be recognized for this accomplishment at the 2026 OnStage event in Long Beach, CA (not that I really like walking the stage, but it really is an accomplishment)

What does this mean for you, and why am I telling you this?
I will need to increase my sales each month and that is where you come in
I am asking you to place your orders with me, and in return I will offer you the listed price of all products.

If you place your order (after April 15th) online you will start receiving a 10% reward on all orders $20 or more, that you can claim on your next order (this all starts April 15th) - therefore, I cannot offer the catalog price. BUT... if you order with me directly I am able to offer you this discount. (I have no control over the online orders)

BUT... I will reward your order according to the amount you order with a product that I will ship to you. (an embellishment, ribbon, etc.) I cannot list what it will be because of the fact that items go on the unorderable list, etc.

For example... If you place an online order of $75.00 I will send you a product valued at $7.50

If you order directly from me I can issue you the discount immediately.

ALL ORDERS will help me achieve this goal

This is how the new rewards program will work:
You can accumulate your rewards for a full 12 months and then you will have some extra "cash" to buy more product!!
Whatever rewards you earn on your purchase can also be redeemed on your next order, you do not need to accumulate!

I still ask that you will please choose me as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator as this will still help out my small business

Thank you so very much!
FOR EVERY ORDER PLACED IN MAY, I WILL PUT YOUR NAME INTO A DRAWING AND THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE THE LOVELIEST TREE BUNDLE

Right now the only current catalog is the Annual Catalog

HOWEVER...you can shop online for MANY other products that are not found in the printed copy.

EXAMPLES to check out...

You Are Remarkable

Wednesday, May 28, 2025

Today's card features the ELEGANT EDGE TAG TOPPER PUNCH.

This tag punch is good for more than making tags.

I am also featuring the YOU ARE REMARKABLE stamp set.

I am not normally a fan of cards that you need to open with a ribbon, but here I've shared with you two days in a row - two cards that have ribbon closures, and I love them both!

This card was cased from Connie Stewart. I think my Tuesday stampers are going to love making this card.

A Lovely Day Gift Card Holder

Tuesday, May 27, 2025

Today's card is actually a gift card holder featuring the SWEET BLOOMS BUNDLE and the FLORALS IN BLOOM 12x12 Designer Paper.

Mary Fish is the creator of this card and it was a Newsletter Subscriber Exclusive, therefore I cannot share her measurements as I cased this card exactly, but you can check out her blog post HERE for amazing ideas and inspiration.
However, I made a gift card holder with a video way back when and you can check it out HERE. The only difference would be the added front focal piece, and the ribbon tie.

Turtle-y Cute

Monday, May 26, 2025

Our four year old Grandson, Liam, "graduated" from pre-school!

What a fun night watching him sing and dance with his classmates.

At his school they have 4 separate pre-school classes with each class identified by a different animal (bee, chipmunk, etc.) Liam's class was the turtle class.

Of course I had to make him a special graduation card!!

Okay, Okay! you caught me! I used a clipart turtle for this fun card, but I was super happy to have some of our new Designer Paper called TURTLE-Y CUTE to use on the lower angle portion. another new product that I used is the Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea Foam 1/2" Ribbon.

The Sentiment is from MORE MESSAGES. A new bundle that gives you a variety of options

INSIDE:

Several greens were used on this card: Shaded Spruce (ribbon), Garden Green base, Granny Apple Green scalloped circle. I thought that they all coordinated with the designer paper.

I used a retired Embossing Folder and the scalloped circle is from the retired Layered Circles Die set.

Beautiful Motifs

Sunday, May 25, 2025

I loved this idea using the BEAUTIFUL MOTIFS DIES and the BEAUTIFUL GALLERY DESIGNER PAPER.

You can get 2 focal points 2" x 3-1/2" from one sheet of the 6x6 but each one will look slightly different.

Inspired by Rose Coleman she used the BEAUTIFUL MOTIFS DIE that only cuts out a portion of the die so that you can tuck your image underneath. Clever, right??

I actually saw Rose on FB - you know how you see "REELS" on your Facebook page. She never says a word and doesn't give instructions, you just watch as she assembles it. I took a screen shot and had to go on that. I searched out her blog (click on the link above) but I didn't find this card on her blog.

I added an adhesive backed TEXTURED DOT to the banner which was cut from Basic Beige using Mossy Meadow Ink and the STYLISH SHAPES smallest banner die. I think Rose used the MUTED PALETTE DOTS that come in 4 colors - one of which is Mossy Meadow, but I don't have those (yet).

I have added a Bible verse on the inside for our FAITH BASED CLASS on July 19th. If you want to join us for this class you can RSVP to me HERE

DETAILS: 6 Faith Based Cards

COST: $12 or FREE with a $25 purchase

TIME: 9:00am through whenever you get your projects completed. Everyone works at a different pace. Feel free to bring along a snack or a lunch.

WHERE: 3299 Oak St., Hudsonville, MI 49426

Inside of our featured card: The Reason the Basic Beige piece on the inside is smaller than normal is because when I cut the DSP I had a 3-1/4" strip left over so I cut it down to 3-1/4 x 4-1/2 and the strip down to 3/4" x 3-1/4. I could have backed this piece with some Mossy Meadow, but I had it adhered with glue before I thought of it. Keep it simple - right??

I had zero waste because I used the 2-1/2" piece that I cut off the DSP for the envelope. The downside is that you get two cards, but only one envelope flap. I used my retired Very Vanilla envelopes for my stampers because I feel it coordinated better. Maybe they should come out with Basic Beige envelopes or bring back the Very Vanilla ones. What do you think?
