Christi's Creative Crew: Happy Birthday Katie

This is a birthday cake I made for a gal at church who just celebrated her 40th birthday! Happy Birthday Katie!! Katie calls herself "quirky", but I call her FUN! I was thrilled to be asked to make the cake for her special celebration

And what am I doing today? Dodging the crowds and shopping the Black Friday Specials?? OH NO!! not me!! I am home baking for yet another cake order. This time it is for a wedding so stay tuned. I will have my helpers: Tyler and Gracie and even Grampa home to 'help' too, although their plans are to make a gingerbread house and gingerbread men cookies. Whew!! sounds like we will spend our day in the kitchen today!!
