 This weeks Sketch Challenge...

And this is my take on it...

I stamped the girl a second time on Strawberry Slush Card Stock (doesn't this new In Color sound delicious!), cut out the dress and adhered it to the first stamped image.  The Specialty Designer Paper is called Quatrafancy #130141 $12.95. The reason this is Specialty Designer Paper is because it comes with 2 sheets of printed window sheets.  Therefore the price of $12.95 instead of the regular Designer Paper at $10.95

The Happy Birthday stamp is from a NEW stamp called LABEL LOVE #130622 clear $17.95 or wood #130619 $24.95 It coordinates perfectly with the NEW ARTISAN LABEL PUNCH #130920 $15.95.  Buy them as a bundle and save 15%. #132723 wood $34.75 or clear #132722 $28.75.  Once again I used the STYLIN' GIRL Stamp set on page 55 of the NEW Catalog #130700 Wood $18.95, or #130703 Clear $14.95.   The NEW Modern Mosaic Textured Embossing Folder #129984 $7.95 matches perfectly with the Quatrafancy Specialty Paper.

With Heartfelt Sympathy

 These are 3 of the cards that we made at this months Stamp A Stack Class, all 3 with the theme of either Get Well or Sympathy.  Sadly it seems you can never have too many of these cards on hand.

Inspired by Jan Tink. YEAH! for 2 returning stamp sets THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS and SERENE SILHOUETTES as well as the returning NATURAL COMPOSITION SPECIALTY PAPER

 Inspired by Jennifer Conrad.  YEAH! for the amazing LOVELY AS A TREE stamp set that returned once again - it is the most loved and versatile stamp set Stampin' Up! has (in my opinion), and Welcome to a NEW Hostess Stamp Set SIMPLY SKETCHED, and NEW embellishments called CANDY DOTS.  They are perfect for adding the look of a brad but not the bulk. (and no, they are not candy, they just resemble the yummy sugar dots we had as kids)

Inspired by Dora Visky.  WELCOME to a NEW Background Stamp WILDFLOWER MEADOW! Love this stamp! and it has a coordinating Textured Embossing Folder.  On this card, though, we stamped it with Versa Mark and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder.  The sentiment - from the favorite TEENY TINY WISHES!

Oh how time is flying and I am busy, busy, busy putting together the details for my NEW Catalog OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, June 20 from 10 am to 7 pm.  YIKES! that is only ONE WEEK AWAY!

Right now my craft room is packed with my washer and dryer, my oven and refrigerator plus my crafting storage racks all in preparation for the NEW FLOORING going in TOMORROW!  I am so excited!!! See my mess...

Am I ever going to be ready for next week?  YOU BET! and I can't wait to see you all! 
So here are some details for the OPEN HOUSE next week

NEW CATALOG OPEN HOUSE

THURSDAY, JUNE 20, 10 AM to 7 PM

Come check out the new catalog and see displays of items made.

So what else have I been up to?

Now that school is out our two grand children come three days a week. 

On Monday's Grampa has the day off so we spend our time with him doing fun stuff.  This week it was raining so we had to chuck our plans for a walk to the Nature Center and a picnic outside, but we went to the church where my hubby works and we had our picnic in the kitchen then went to the Ministry Center/Jr and Sr High building to play some air hockey

Grampa also gave Tyler some tips on his baseball throwing

And Gracie found a white board to draw on

On the way home the kids confiscated my camera - oh my!

I would post more but not sure you want to see Gracie's tongue sticking out or all her goofy faces.

On Wednesday we took a LONG walk around town after I had a class here in the morning.  They were so well behaved they deserved a treat at the Dollar Store and ice cream when we got home.

Whew! I'm tired just remembering our day.

So - onward to Summer vacation - I'm sure we will be doing a lot of fun things together.

This fun card was made using the BEST OF LOVE stamp set (inspired by Sarah Souza)

Stylin' Girl

Our sweet grand daughter, Gracie recently had her ballet recital and she did a fabulous job! When I saw this new stamp set in the NEW Catalog I knew I had to get it so I could make a card for her.

Bridal Shower Card

This cute bridal shower card comes courtesy of pmretreat.com who does a great tutorial on her blog with My Digital Studio.  She gave the instructions that were easy to follow, I printed it out and made it into a card.

Do you recognize the background Designer Paper?  This is where I learned how to add the DSP as a layer so I used it for yesterday's card as well.  This one uses Baja Breeze as the DSP color.  I'm so glad that I still have access to ALL the Stampin' Up! colors through My Digital Studio.

RHSSC #92

This weeks Sketch Challenge...

 I pulled out my "Lucky Leftovers" again and I had a bunch of these Tiny Teacups

Using My Digital Studio I created the background with the Beau Chatteau Designer Paper changing the color to Pacific Point and changing the opacity to about 50%, printed it out and 'voila, I had a pretty background for my teacups.
