Sentimental Sunday

Dale and I took a couple days for WE TIME this weekend.  We used the gift certificate that our church gave to Dale on his 10 year anniversary working there (which was last year at this time), and stayed at the Harbor House in Grand Haven.
The weather was a little gloomy but when you spend your time with the one you love and have committed your life to, it doesn't make a difference at all.  It felt good to get away.  We even saw a big ship pull in on Friday night
We took a leisurely start to our Saturday morning before heading out to Manistee
Since we had an early start we decided to stop wherever something looked like fun and we came upon a great craft sale in Ludington where Dale was able to chat with some other Soap Makers and glean some new ideas for his line.  I met one Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and she had some fun things in her booth that made me realize that I need to get busy and start preparing for the craft sales this fall.
Want to put them on your calendar?  I will be at the Georgetown Bible Church, 4114 Baldwin St, Hudsonville, MI on Saturday, October 15th from 10 am to 3 pm.
The second craft sale I will be at will be on Saturday, November 19th from 10am to 3pm at the Hudsonville High School, 5037 32nd Ave., Hudsonville, MI.
Dale will have a booth at both of these as well - you will want to check out his products if you haven't already, and if you have tried them out it will be a good chance to stock up on some more of your favorites.
Back to our weekend - Our goal was to get to Manistee to check out Swankyz, one of the stores that we sell our products at.
How cool to see how happy the owners were to meet us!  What a highlight!! We each brought a little more product and they asked Dale to make some new products which he is really excited about.
It was fun to find our products placed at the store
And when we got home we had our July check in the mail from Swankyz!! Yeah!! so glad that my hubby is doing so well. (me too, but I'm more excited about his success!!)
Thanks for stopping by!

I was in Swankys on Saturday, too! I think I even bought something there! I remember seeing the soap but so sorry I didn't pick it up and look at it! As I was walking out the door, I saw the cards on the rack and thought someone was a stampin up person!!! Got to get your cards out of the corner!!! I am so sorry I didn't double check everything! Busy store!
