Have you played with your June Paper Pumpkin Kit yet?
This was one of my favorite kits!
Here are the alternate cards that I made. Some were copied from the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club Facebook page and others I created on my own using some layout ideas.
This first card is a note card size. At this point I had used up all of my leaf dies cuts so I made my own using the Forever Fern Dies. This was also my last label so I only made one of this style. It uses the HELLO & THANKS Embossing Folder.
I pulled out my PIERCED BLOOMS Dies to make up a few cards. I was in need of some Anniversary cards and this worked out perfectly. I could get 2 fronts from one of the cards in the kit.
I had one strip left of the designer paper so only made one of these. I used the ORNATE FRAMES for my sentiment.
The designer paper lends itself to beautiful cards and I felt like the Pierced Blooms cards were my favorite ones that I made.
This is the same style as an earlier card but uses the floral vellum included in the kit. The die cut from ARTISTIC DIES fits over the vellum so perfectly.
I believe I copied this one and loved how the floral dies worked with the 4 x 5-1/4 printed vellum. I also love the iridescent sequins that came in the kit.
On this card I used the BASIC BORDERS Dies. I wish I had used a floral die from the ARTISTIC Dies but instead I put a cluster of rhinestones in the center of the largest flower.
The secondary color included in the kit was Bumblebee so I wanted to add it to the butterflies on my card, but I can't say it is my favorite
This cute little turtle from TURTLE FRIENDS make me smile every time I see him. I used the FOREVER FERN Dies again for the background because I had run out of the ones in the kit. I think our grand kids will love getting one of these.
I made 3 of these because I had 3 of the floral sprays in this pink color. I used the SCALLOPED CONTOURS Dies for the rectangle and I used FLOWERS OF FRIENDSHIP stamp set and punch for the flowers. The sentiment comes from ELEGANTLY SAID.
Another note card size - super simple - my friend wasn't going to use her last 2 pieces of this paper so gave them to me at the end of our Paper Pumpkin Night. I had 2 of the "thanks" (gave one to a friend) so I colored the backside with the dark Evening Evergreen Stampin' Blend. Super basic, but I did add some of the iridescent sequins.
Last, but not least, is this fun note card size for granddaughter, Mercy.
The kit came with "thanks", "merci" and "danke". I cut the "k" from "danke" and turned it upside down to make the "y". I trimmed off the "i" from "merci" and made it "mercy" - she is 3 years old and will think it's great. I used the brand-new MERRY MUSIC embossing folder that will be available on August 3rd. Their family is VERY musical so this embossing folder was a must for me. It will go so well with the other musical themed stamp sets that I refuse to sell.
