Christi's Creative Crew: Room Divider Card and Alcohol Ink Techniques

I am not going to promise that this is my last post using the SWEET AS PEACH Stamp Set, Peach Dies and the You're a Peach Designer Paper, but I will say that it will be the last post "for now"

I had on my "want to accomplish" list

1. to try the alcohol ink technique that everyone is showing on facebook and Pinterest

2. to make a Room Divider technique card

3. to use one of my new products from the upcoming Mini catalog

Little did I know that I could accomplish all three in one card.

The measurements for the room divider card:

5-1/2 x 11

score at 2-3/4, 5-1/2, 8-1/4

I used the retired scalloped edge border punch for the top

and the Lovely Label Punch for the "legs" of the room divider

Basic Black panels: 2-1/2 x 4-1/4

White panel (behind the vellum) 2-3/8 x 4-1/8

Vellum card stock I created the alcohol ink technique on a 4-1/4 x 11 piece and then once it was dry I cut it to 2-3/8 x 4-1/8 - that way they flowed from one panel to the next

For the new product from the Mini Catalog I used the Timber 3D Embossing Folder to give the room divider some dimension. This embossing folder will be available to purchase on August 3rd!! Do you have your wish list ready?

TIP: when stamping directly onto the vellum you need to use STAZON Ink or it will just rub right off.

This technique really is easier than I expected and now I wonder why I didn't try it sooner. Same goes for the Room divider card.
