Tonight is my card club night which is one of my favorite nights of the month.
Seven sweet ladies are in this club and this month we are featuring the SWEET AS A PEACH Stamp Set and Peaches dies.
I decided to scour Pinterest and other talented demonstrators blogs to make up a sample of cards for the ladies to be inspired by.
What I found while using the SWEET AS A PEACH Bundle and the gorgeous YOU'RE A PEACH Designer Paper
Is how elegant this is whether you are just using the stamps or teaming it up with the designer paper.I couldn't believe how much fun I had making all of these samples up
When stamping the peach I chose to use Pale Papaya Ink first, then adding a little Calypso Coral on the edges with a sponge dauber. I have seen some stampers use Poppy Parade Ink instead of Calypso Coral, but I wanted to keep all of my samples uniform, and I preferred the Calypso Coral.
I will be sharing my SWEET AS A PEACH cards throughout this weeks blog posts
Here are a couple Slim Line cards that I made. This first one was inspired by Mandy Patzold (no blog link)
I changed up the alphabet and the sentiment choosing to use the ORNATE FRAMES DIES. My cousin requested a card with this name for the hospice lady that she sends cards to regularly. This second slim line card was inspired by Tammy Wilson of the Stampin' Up! Artisan team. (no blog link)
The dimensions for the slim line card are: 8” X 9” SCORED AT 4”, WHITE 9” X 3-7/8, DSP 2” X 9” & 1” X 9”
The scallop edge is from the Hand Penned Dies
I was inspired by this gorgeous bundle so I went out and bought a dozen peaches and with those 12 peaches I got 17 muffins, 1-8x8 pan of peach bars and a peach cobbler. Can you say YUM?
