Today's swap cards are from Rochelle and Dawn

Rochelle chose the Happy Hedgehogs Bundle (157985) and for his back she used some gold foil that she embossed to give it texture. This bundle comes with a punch which is perfect! I love a bundle with a punch!

And Dawn chose to use the darling new ELEPHANT PARADE Stamp Set. She used a fun technique using all of the new in colors. Her little elephant was colored in with colored pencils.

On the vacation front: Monday we toured the Biltmore Estate - totally AMAZING!!

It is truly difficult to choose which pictures to share with you because I took a ton.

The architecture is mind-blowing as to what they could do in the late 1800's This estate took at least 8 years to fully complete. Hard to believe they could think about everything that they wanted and how they instituted it in this home. I would think that they would get lost in their own home. It took us 90 minutes for the tour of the house and then at least another 90 minutes to tour all of the gardens. I'm even sure we missed some things.

They hired a immigrant from Germany to make the gorgeous spiral stairways

45 Bathrooms in this house - very primitive in comparison to all the elaborate

rooms throughout the estate

They started at 6am and worked until midnight and then it started all over again the next day

And TONS of beautiful flowers in the Conservatory - The gardener that designed the gardens and the landscaping is the same person who oversaw the Central Park in New York City. - George Biltmore honored him so much that he hung a HUGE portrait of him in the home as well as another HUGE portrait of the guy who was the architect for the home.

These were just a few.

Sadly Dale seems to have caught a stomach bug so that was it for the day, unless you consider I did some laundry here in the hotel!!
