Christi's Creative Crew: Guest Stamper, Carla

Today's guest stamper is Carla, and she shared two cards with us at the last team meeting.

Carla used the FLOWERING RAINBOOTS BUNDLE for this pretty card that she made for a co-worker who is retiring. The stamp set that Carla used on this card is long ago retired, but she gets a lot of use from it.

On the vacation front: We are no longer on the island, but yesterday we drove to Savannah GA and took in the tour of the Historical sites. What a lot of information! Our tour guide Cainen was an absolute hoot!

The trolley tour is one that you can hop on and hop off at any of the 15 stops. We enjoyed him so much that we wanted to stick with him for the full 90 minutes and then go back to the stops we wanted to see closer up.

Look who we had lunch with! Paula Deen!! Ok, ok... we ate at her restaurant! DELICIOUS!!

These are her biscuits and peach cobbler. Forgot to get a picture of the full (family style) meal because we just dug right in.

One of the tours that we took at the end of the day was the Prohibition Museum. Full of lifelike wax figures. That must have been a rough and rowdy time in our history. I guess I didn't realize it lasted for 14 years

And look, Dale bought himself a new hat and it's just like this drunkard!!

At this time in history is also when the gangster/mafia began in full force.

I'm sharing the picture of Al Capone because did you know that Al Capone had a summer home right is Michigan - and it is located in Georgetown Forest only about 4 miles from our home. A couple from our church now live in that home, and as a history buff, it's a perfect platform for him to tell stories.
