Baby Wipe Technique and Double Pouch

Thursday, August 5, 2010

This months Techniques class was, once again, so much fun. I love getting together with the ladies and teaching them new techniques that they can use on their own creations.

This first technique is called the Baby Wipe Technique where they learned to create a kaleidoscope paint pallet with a baby wipe and refill inkers. You can do this with any colors that you wish, but we wanted to use the colors found in the Island Oasis DSP to match the Double Pouch they also learned to make from a 12x12 sheet of Designer Paper. The two cards will fit nicely – one in each side. This would make a nice little gift - just tuck in the envelopes and a book of stamps and you’re all set to go.

Glenda taught us how to make this Double Pouch quite a while back, and I have used it a couple times on different projects, but when I saw it on

where she combined the new Island Oasis DSP with the cute cards using the Baby Wipe Technique I knew I had to give it another try and I LOVE the outcome.
