A couple weeks ago we had a HUGE garage sale here.
We had recently settled my Father-In-Laws estate and he had a bunch of "stuff" for us to sell (hopefully)
Dad was a BIG reader!
We didn't have great success on selling all Dad's things, but we are thankful that nearly EVERYTHING else we put in the sale went.
In fact, at the end of the second day when we were beginning to pack up I was putting all the craft or Stamping items in one box so I could bring it to the next garage sale at my friend Rachel's house. When this lovely lady showed up that was very interested in beginning to stamp and craft when she retired next January. She offered to buy the whole box - without digging through it or knowing what was exactly in it. AMAZING!!

Dale is keeping Dad's chair company before it sold - Yes, it's the only chair of his that sold
Julia kept the doll house company - and her mommy ended up buying it.
I had a couple special visitors too...
Sam, the neighbor dog, stayed so long that we decided to put a price tag on him and even got some offers to buy him. The neighbors were very thankful that we did not sell him.
My other special visitor is Squiggy
Squiggy belongs to one my Stamping friends, Jackie,
and we loved playing with Squiggy while Jackie shopped.

Boy, did we really declutter!! and why?? well, the big news is that we are selling our house!!
After fifteen years of day care it is time to hang up the Auntie badge and move to the next chapter in my life. Actually when you read this posting, our amazing story is that our house SOLD!!
We had signed with a Realtor on Wednesday night May 18th which put the paper work in the system on Thursday the 19th. We asked that they not show the house because of the garage sale going on and the huge mess it was,
but God had other plans
We received a call on Sunday that someone from out of state wanted to go through the house.
On Monday the 23rd we had an offer and after our counter offer the house sold on the 24th!
One day PRIOR to the day we planned to start showing it.
We Stand Amazed!
Our journey continued as we searched for a condo to live in and by Friday May 27th we officially have a place to move in to after signing. So... 10 days from start to finish!!
