Happy Easter - He Is Risen!

Saturday, April 3, 2021

 Happy Blessed Easter, Everyone!

When I saw this card by Angela Wilson-Meyer on Demonstrator Planning Place Facebook group I knew that I HAD to give it a try.

What I changed up: Angela created her sentiment on a Word program, but I had a retired stamp set that fit the bill perfectly. I'm not sure on her measurements but I cut my cross 1" wide. The vertical beam is 4-3/4" and the horizontal beam is 3-1/4".

The In good Taste Designer Series Paper for the cross was embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

Seaside Spray Card Stock layer was also embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. (Angela used the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder)

The foliage was cut from the ARRANGE A WREATH Dies and uses Pear Pizzazz, Soft Seafoam, and Vellum card stock, and the tiny flowers are from Seaside Spray Card Stock.

The White background is Watercolor Paper with Seaside Spray and Pear Pizzazz ink.

The ARRANGE A WREATH Stamp Set and Dies are retiring - if you love them like I do, NOW is the chance to grab them before it is too late.

Love Wreath

Tuesday, February 9, 2021

With Valentine's Day right around the corner it is perfect to make beautiful cards like this

BUT...this does NOT need to be just for Valentine's Day. Think "anniversary" and simply "thinking of you". Who doesn't want to be reminded that they are loved.

This is just one of the cards that the ladies made this week at the Come Stamp With Me class.

The Arrange a Wreath bundle (#154109) is such a favorite for me. There are 2 different styles of wreath dies that coordinate perfectly together.

I cut the sprigs wreath from Highland Heather card stock and the leafy wreath from some of the Hydrangea Hill Designer Paper (#154570) which also gives the wreath so much more dimension.

The Ornate Layers Dies (#152726) and the Subtle Embossing Folder (#151775) make the perfect front layer.

Super, super quick. Super, super easy, and Super, super versatile! It just couldn't be prettier!

Christmas Cards

Sunday, December 13, 2020

With Christmas on the horizon we are finding many Christmas cards and greetings in our mailbox every day.

Some are from family or friends with wonderful updated letters about their family.

Some are hand stamped from some of my team members, and some are hand stamped cards from customers (which are really friends, too).

This first one is super special sent from Brenda's husband, Chuck
Brenda was a team member who passed away very unexpectedly this year (prior to COVID) - Those of us who knew her, miss her terribly.
This note is what accompanied the card
They copied her card and sent it to everyone who were friends and family that Brenda would have also sent her hand made cards to.

I thought this was so extremely thoughtful and probably very hard for Chuck to do, but I would imagine that it was somewhat healing as well.

These next cards are from some of the girls on my team
Carla
Bonnie
Ronda
Vicki
Pam
Don't forget that the End Of Year Clearance is going on as well as a great Clearance Rack reboot!
A big thank you to everyone who has supported my small Stampin' Up! business this month by shopping online or purchasing gift certificates. It has helped me to keep "afloat" during a down-month with no classes. You all are the reason that I continue to do what I love.

SWAPS Day #3

Friday, September 11, 2020
Our final day for sharing the team SWAPS with you.
Today's theme is "Christmas" ~ it is our largest number of cards chosen
Dawn's chose GNOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS to make this cute gift card holder.

Debbie O Designed this gorgeous card using the PEACEFUL NATIVITY Stamp Set
With an amazing pop-up theme. In fact the front square image is only held on by one Stampin' Dimensional so it is easily removed to use as an ornament - Very clever!

Sue chose to use the EVERGREEN Embossing Folder for he image. By inking up the folder and running it through the STAMPIN' CUT & EMBOSS MACHINE you get this very cool winter scene.
Chris used the WARM HUGS Stamp Set for her card and some HEARTWARMING HUGS Designer Paper
Janell made this super fun movement card using the COMING HOME Stamp Set and some TRIMMING THE TOWN Designer Paper
Marlane used ORNAMENTAL ENVELOPES Stamp Set for her beautiful Christmas card swap. Gorgeous!
I am sharing my card last, and I used the ARRANGE A WREATH Stamp Set and DOVE OF HOPE for the sentiment.
I used one of our previous weekly challenges to create my card.
I hope that you have enjoyed seeing all the cards that my team members have shared in our SWAP.
Check out the links below to shop or contact me.

One of the best things is that it comes with all the tools needed to get started right away, making it easy for you to have a fantastic die-cutting and embossing experience right from the start.
Here are some simple facts that Stampin' Up tell us about the new machine:

  • Its high grip feet minimize sliding on surfaces.
  • It has a compact footprint for easy storage and transport.
  • Its platform is designed to naturally guide products into the rollers for a smooth user experience.
  • The ergonomic handle flows well and balances the perfect amount of rotation and pressure for precise cutting and detailed embossing results.
  • You are going to LOVE how smoothly and easily it cuts! AMAZING! And with the new specially designed flatter dies, they cut through like butter!
You may remember that originally, the magnetic plate was not going to be available till later this year. However, it is available TODAY! so you can add it to your Starter Kit!
I know you are probably also waiting on the Mini Cut and Emboss Machine. But that won't be available until later this year.
I will keep you posted on the progress of that tool.

Team Shares

Friday, August 7, 2020
At our monthly team meeting last night we had several shares so I wanted to pass on the fun to you too.
I just love this NOTHING'S BETTER THAN stamp set. I have yet to purchase it for myself, but I was happy to see Inez's card - so cute!
She also made this darling file folder style card using the PAMPERED PETS stamp set
Inez's team do a weekly FaceTime class and they take turns being the "host" - so this past week they worked on File Folder Cards  - these are the 2 that Chris shared
Chris also made some slim-line cards - they really seem to be all the rage right now.
So cute - using the NOTHING'S BETTER THAN Stamp Set
This one is from Painted Poppies and some great sponging.
Pam shared these next 2 cards that qualify under last weeks 6x6 challenge - so pretty!
I thought this was a great use of the All Dressed Up Designer Paper (R) and the Beautiful You Stamp  Set (R)
This card was also shared by Pam using the brand new stamp set/bundle ARRANGE A WREATH
The next several cards were shared by Janell.
 BEAUTIFUL WORLD
BOHO INDIGO
 ORNATE GARDEN
 PAINTED POPPIES
The next several cards are from the COMING HOME BUNDLE

And this last one she used the new felted paper.
Janell was so sweet! She arrived early and set up a blessing box by each place setting.
You may remember for a previous post that she made these roll up boxes for our 3D/craft sale project weekly challenge. She enjoyed making them so much that she wanted to make one for everyone.

She not only made everyone a roll-up box, she filled them all with goodies (there were 12 of us!!) She surely is a blessing!

This was my first candy to dig into - I love these peppermint balls

I would love to have you join our team, and even if you do not live in my area, we make sure that you will always feel a part of the team.
RIGHT NOW is a PERFECT time to purchase the STARTER KIT!
The NEW Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) is HERE! Well - it is here for demonstrators to pre-order (in August).  Price for this awesome tool is $120.00 BUT the Starter Kit is ONLY $99.00 plus tax (no shipping fee which is also a 10% saving) AND you get to choose $125.00 in product -
Therefore you can get the new SCEM with your Starter Kit and still get another $6 in product of your choice.
