Snapshot Thank You

This card was made for our amazing photographer!  Todd really took his job seriously because he sure did capture some great shots of everyone!!  You will see those below!

Stampin' Up's new SNAPSHOT single stamp sure did come in handy when I wanted to make his card. The stars are from PICTOGRAM PUNCHES and the the Thank-you is from ANOTHER THANK YOU with some GORGEOUS GRUNGE along the side.
Here are some of the other participants in this years talent night...
Avery sang AMAZING GRACE (beautifully I might add)

and Grace ended our night with an AMAZING fiddle compilation

Kaela sang BORN FOR THIS (story of Esther) by Mandisa

While her sister (Snow White, aka Alyssa) played the jambay

Our only adult performance was by Bill, who led us all in a worship song before his solo (HOLD ME JESUS, by Rich Mullins).  It was perfect!

Sweet, silly, fun Alex did a fantastic job on her PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN piano solo.

 Do you see anything missing?  NO MUSIC SHEETS!  She did this all by heart!

At the end she sat right on the base keys of the piano - what a hoot this girl - sure am going to miss her when she goes to college in a week.

Our second fiddler is Kate - I love how she even dressed the part because she played a few songs from the deep south - Dixie and the like!!  Like I said we have a talented lot of people here!!

Becky sang BEAUTIFUL DAY by Jamie Grace.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song!!

And this is ANNA, I already posted the card that I made for her, but I didn't have her photo yet.  She sang ABOVE ALL by Michael W Smith

I am so extremely thankful for everyone who participated!

When I saw these cute cookies on Honeybee's blog I thought what a fun card the pirate would be.

This little Pirate card was my inspiration for one of our PUNCH ART Cards for this months PUNCH ART Class. (See, I can even inspire myself!!)

The ladies not only learned how to make a Punch Art Pirate, they also got tips on how to make the plank background.

Arrgh! It's a Punch Art Pirate

During the summer our church holds Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinners

and each week we have a different theme.  One of the favorite evenings is 

when they have Talent Night.  Each year is different, but it is fun to watch 

some of the kids grow from year to year in their maturity in their talents.

Our youth pastors daughter has been playing a piano solo most years

and it is amazing to see how she has grown from year to year and what a

wonderful job she did again this year.  I like to jot down notes during Talent

Night so when I send out a Thank You note to each one for participating

I can make it as personal as possible.

Since Erin played the piano, I sent her this card that you saw in an earlier post

but the song choice that Erin played was a song from Disney's

Pirates of the Caribbean.  I couldn't resist adding this fun Pirate

Punch Art to the inside of her card.  You probably can tell I made 

it using the Owl Builder Punch.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!

Today is my little nephews 6th birthday. Riley lives in New York State with his sister Naomi and baby brother Elijah. Riley loves pirates. I'm not sure if he will have another Pirate Themed Birthday Party, but I couldn't resist making this card for him that I saw by Wendy Doherty.

I used retired Designer paper for Riley's card and a variety of punches.
