Live Love Laugh

I was so happy when Stampin’ Up! decided to bring back Riding Hood Red and put it in our core colors.  Of course, they didn’t bring back the Kiwi Kiss shown here, but I couldn’t resist using some of my retired Designer paper with the Riding Hood Red in it. Thanks goes to Twila Mooneyham for this cute card idea.

So since I’m on a Retired “kick” here is a great guy card using one of my all time favorite stamp sets “Classic Pickups.”Thankfully Stampin’ Up! didn’t retire the Basic Black, Whisper White and Basic Gray.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Our son-in-law, Jeremy, is celebrating his birthday today. So I pulled out a favorite retired stamp set of mine called Classic Pickups, and a retired background stamp called Flannel Plaid to create this card for him. We hope you have a great day! We will be celebrating Jeremy’s birthday, our son, Jeff’s, birthday and our grandson, Tyler’s, birthday on Memorial Day when we all get together.

You’re a Classic

I love this (retired) stamp set. It seems like it is so hard to come up with good guy cards without being corny. Recently I depleted my guy card supply and wanted to make more so I pulled out my trusty Classic Pickup Stamp Set and went to town, finding this idea on Splitcoaststampers – I am not sure who to give the credit to, but I loved how it turned out.
