Bridal Shower Gift Card

Another one of my day care kids is getting married!! I was not able to attend her bridal shower because it was the same weekend that I was at the ONSTAGE LOCAL event for Stampin' Up! in Toronto.

I'm not sure how old Kyra was in these photos, but isn't she beautiful!!  I made so many photo albums of the kids and now am gifting them away to them on special occasions.  This photo is taken from one of those albums.

This is a 5x7 note that I made to go in with her gift.  I used TIMELESS TEXTURES and BEST BIRDS stamp sets.

Along with her gift I wanted to add a gift card so this is the card that I made.  I used GRATEFUL BUNCH, FALLING FOR YOU, and DELICATE DETAILS Stamp sets.

I am looking forward to her wedding reception on Saturday.  She will make a beautiful Bride!! How do I know that??
One Halloween she came dressed as a bride. Precious, precious memories!!

I love them all so very much and am thankful to still be a part of their lives.

Sentimental Sunday

What a emotional day!  One of the sweet little girls that I used to care for when I was doing child care, is getting married.
Kyra was almost one year old when she came to Aunties and what a joy she was and still is.  I've said it before and I will say it again - Doing Child Care was the BEST job that I ever had!

This picture was taken from one of my photo albums that I made of all the kids that I cared for.

Today is the bridal shower for Kyra.  She was a darling little girl and now she is a beautiful young woman ready to marry the man of her dreams.

This is the gift card that I made for her.

I put this inside along with her gift.  Then I made this 5x7 note card as well to write a note to her

Butterflies are Blooming

One of my favorite things about Spring is the butterflies!  We have a wonderful place to go see the butterflies near us called The Frederick Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

These are the cards that Sue shared with all of us:

Stained Glass technique - stamped on vellum with versa mark and embossed with white embossing powder, then colored in on the BACK sided of the vellum with markers. If you look close you can see she also embossed the flourish on the Whisper White card stock with white embossing powder. Stamp Set: FALLING FLOWERS

 On this card Sue used 2 of the free stamp sets that she earned through Sale a bration: DELICATE DETAILS and SO VERY MUCH

 Another example of embossing with White onto White then water coloring it in. Stamp Sets: BIRTHDAY BLOOMS and FALLING FOR YOU

Here is the second half of the Team Shares from Tuesday nights meeting:

Donne made this cute Valentine treat.  She said that she copied a treat that I gave to her when she brought a meal into Dale and I after my surgery.  She wanted to feature the DELICATE DETAILS Stamp Set that you can get FREE with a $50 purchase. See the glimmery ribbon? That, too, you can get FREE with a $50 purchase all during the Sale a bration time (through March 31st).  Isn't that a cute Valentine heart?  It is from the MY HERO Stamp Set - the stamp set set aside to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities through Stampin' Up!

 This is the back side.  A cute 2" treat using the SCALLOP TAG TOPPER PUNCH

 Donne also use the DELICATE DETAILS Stamp Set on this pretty Thank You card AND she teamed it up with another FREE stamp set that you can get during Sale a bration called SO VERY MUCH.  She created the scalloped edge using the BEST BADGE PUNCH

 This is a little heart shaped Hershey Kiss treat

 Donne also made this cute owl card using the BEST BADGE PUNCH and elements from the SEALED WITH LOVE Stamp Set and Framelits and the SENDING LOVE Designer Paper Stack

 Inez is the one sho shared these next cards.  If you saw my blog post last week where I shared a video from Stampin' Up! on how to make 12 cards using the LIFT ME UP Stamp Set and the CARRIED AWAY Designer Paper (which is also one of the FREE items you can get during Sale a bration)

 HIGH TIDE was one of the stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog that was a must-have

 Inez used some stamps from a Paper Pumpkin Kit for this Valentine card

 LOVELY AS A TREE is such a great staple stamp set to have on hand.  Really one of the most versatile sets out there. The cloudy sky was using a torn edge of card stock with a sponge and ink.  Pretty, isn't it!!

Here is another card using the Delicate Details.  Inez also used elements from CRAZY ABOUT YOU and the Botanicals Framelits
