Let's Go On A Picnic

Friday, July 1, 2016
The second special order Bridal Shower card theme was PICNIC.  After scouring Pinterest and having no luck whatsoever I decided to use the BERRY BASKET DIE as a picnic basket and then it all started to fall together.  The flowers are from BIRTHDAY BLOSSOMS stamp set
I have a new HOSTESS CODE for July so go ahead and use this CODE for your on line orders in July

Bunny Treats

Tuesday, March 15, 2016
Here is a cute Easter treat made using the Curvy Keepsake Box Framelit Dies. (Inspired by Betty)
This is the treat that I used as door prize drawings for my Stamp a Stack Classes this month.   To get in on special treats like this you, too, can come to one of my classes.  Stamp a Stack Classes are done for the month of March, but stay tuned for the April classes information.
Here are the WEEKLY DEALS starting today and going through Monday, March 21st

Yesterday's blog post showed this cute Easter treat using the FESTIVE FLOWER BUILDER PUNCH that is on the WEEKLY DEALS.  It is combined with the fun, FLOWERS AND FRIENDS stamp set from the Occasions Catalog
The FRINGE SCISSORS were used on this cute Easter Treat
This beautiful Flower was made using the FESTIVE FLOWER BUILDER PUNCH
After last nights Card Club I had scraps of Designer Paper left over so I made up a FESTIVE FLOWER with that just to show you that it is not just a holiday related punch.  This BERRY BASKET was made using the DAZZLING DIAMONDS GLIMMER PAPER. (Just a tip - I used the TOMBO GLUE to adhere my basket side together, but it take a bit to dry.  I piled some heavy items on top and let them set just a bit.)  the sides are attached with the HANDHELD STAPLER.  I attached the FESTIVE FLOWER with hot glue.
This FESTIVE FLOWER BUILDER PUNCH is super versatile and will come in handy for leaves like you see on this card we made at Stamp a Stack this month
I plan to use it in my scrapbooking for a beautiful garden scene!

Beautiful Baskets

Tuesday, July 14, 2015
These adorable baskets were made using the BERRY BASKET BIGZ L DIE from Stampin' Up!
And the fabulous flowers were made using the BOUQUET BIGZ L DIE and the (retired) BUILD A BOUQUET Stamp Set.  The cute 3x3 note cards and envelopes fit perfect in the BERRY BOX and made a great end of year gift for the school teachers.  Notice the candle in the back?  My hubby makes all natural soy candles, lotions, soaps and so much more. You can check out his web site HERE
 Isn't this flower just gorgeous!!
The basket was made sturdier by adhering my Designer Paper to COASTER BOARD.  This idea came from Patty Bennett's Blog.
Yes, I know, the Painted Blooms Designer Paper you see on the Berry Box is retired but Stampin' Up! has some brand new Designer Paper that is gorgeous called ENGLISH GARDEN that you are going to LOVE! and would be perfect if you want to copy this idea.
Here is a link to all the products that were used

Berry Basket for Easter

Thursday, January 22, 2015
I love it when my friend Carla comes to classes early (right from work)! I not only get to go to dinner with her but we also get a good chunk of time to stamp or try out new products.  We had been talking about the NEW Berry Basket Bigz L Die that is in the Occasions Catalog.
We started with Crumb Cake Cardstock to create a "traditional" berry basket.  My hubby's dad grew the most wonderful raspberries & strawberries along with a multitude of fresh produce - we certainly were spoiled!! and this Berry Basket Die reminds us of those days gone by and my hubby remembers having to pick all the berries during the summer. (Dad had so many that he hired the nieces and nephews to help pick - he never did the U-pick - I guess he didn't want anyone trampling his immaculate weed-free garden).  I even used the Handheld Stapler to make it look authentic.
Then we decided to use some Designer Series Paper for the sides, and a white scallop edge (also comes with the Berry Basket Die) I use retired Designer Paper when I am just playing around.
Then we pulled out the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Paper that is in the Sale a bration brochure and you can get this FREE with a $50 purchase from any current catalog.  "This white paper with a glossy white pattern is perfect for coloring using a variety of techniques - coloring reveals the pattern. 12 sheets: 2 each of 6 designs. 12"x12". We sponged Wild Wasabi on the bottom 1/3 and Pink Pirouette in the middle and then So Saffron on the top 1/3 plus the scallop trim.  The handle was made using the straight piece that comes out with the Die and we sponged that with Pink Pirouette. Two little butterflies from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set were stamped in Marina Mist and cut out using the coordinating Thinlits I had some bright green Easter grass left from last year and it made it so very cute.  I can't wait to fill it with some goodies for Gracie for Easter and then... I get to make more for Tyler and Sawyer!  These are the perfect size - not too big, yet big enough to spoil them with treats.
Here you can see them all together
